If selected for either scholarship you will be required to attend a ceremony on Saturday June 11, 2011 from 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m. in Detroit, Michigan (please plan to attend the entire event). The location is TBA.
How will the funds will be distributed?
Legacy Book Award
The Book Award recipient will provide proof of enrollment and class syllabus listing required texts to the foundation. Once the information has been received the Barbara Ann Moore Hope Foundation will purchase up to $250.00 of the required first semester text books. The text books will be sent to the recipient no later than one week before classes start.
Technology Scholarship
The scholarship recipient will provide proof of enrollment to the foundation. Once the information has been received the Barbara Ann Moore Hope Foundation will purchase and send a laptop computer to the recipient. The recipient will receive everything no later than one week before classes start.
